Way too quick to put QB's in the HoF nowadays for winning SB's.

It's a fucking team sport for crying out loud.

Yeah... Brees has been pretty dominant in his career, but IMO he's nowhere close to the Hall of Fame.

        Agreed.

Which is why I don't take the hall of fame seriously. It's a complete fucking joke.

It's certainly possible, but he needs a few more good seasons and maybe another ring before he should merit serious consideration.

No shit? I wouldn't have guessed after watching his long ass, overrated, yet somewhat amusing ass career. It was like watching some black guy tossing up some of the most inaccurate shit passes, hoping to eventually hit something. The only thing that could have made it more amusing, if he had to throw the ball to Art Monk.

Warren Moon got in because they had no choice.
You are missing my point. The HOF fame goes by your stats at the end of your career 8 out of 10 times. At the time Moon was 3rd at the time, they had no choice.

Ken Stable was a NFL MVP and won Super Bowls, yet he's not mentioned. He's 45th in career passing yards.

Brees may well replace Moon at the end of his career, but he needs to be in the Top 25 for the HoF to be mentioned. I don't like the way the HoF does it either, I think its a joke, but hey I am not on the committee.

I am just pointing out that winning The Game and MVP isn't they only thing they look at.

Would you guys put Ben Roethlisberger in the HoF?

                Just wondering...

Brees has 8 Full-ish seasons in the NFL. 6 of which are considered good seasons. 1 SuperBowl.

Roethlisberger has 6 Full Seasons in the NFL. 4 of which are considered good seasons. 2 Super Bowl wins.

Point I guess I'm trying to make is the HoF is the Hall of Fame Not the Hall of Really Good. We can't throw every Quarterback who wins a SB in the Hall.

In my opinion there are only 3 Quarterbacks in the league right now that really deserve to be in the Hall of Fame.

                Peyton Manning - The GOAT
Brett Favre - The Stats holder
Tom Brady - 3 Super Bowls, and put up the greatest season in the history of football.

Good post. Accurate, and with a hidden meaning, which I agree with...

                    Warren Moon does indeed suck.

Maybe he's not really that good of a QB, but Moon did pass for more than 3500 yards 6x in his career and 4x more than 4000 yards on Oilers teams with some shitty ass defenses.
Checkout the latest stats for Warren Moon. Get info about his position, age, height, weight, college, draft, and more on Pro-football-reference.com.

Yea his record blows in the playoffs, but he went up against that crazy Bills comeback one season and got taken out by Montana led Chiefs the second year. The other times he was taking on Elway. Thats some stiff competition man.

Wildcat with the well-thought out logical answer. Bravo sir.

Definitely.. just the feat of KOing 3 HOF QBs alone on route to the ship.. plus the season passing record (which now means more cause he actually has proven he can win), an MVP would be nice to top it off, but IMO hes still a HOFer.

Dude, we're talking about the Hall of Fame not the Comeback Player of the Year Award.

Whether or not he's a HOFer, his shoulder injury has little to do with his resume.

I think he is if he continues to produce at a top 3 level like this.
