I have no problem with Brees moving down, I never considered him a top 2 or 3 QB anyways.

However no Eli Manning on the list is a crime. How can you have a rookie in the top 5 but leave super bowl winning Eli off the list completely?

Eli's been in the league for a while now, and he's just not consistent enough to make my list. I'd take every quarterback on my list, ahead of Eli Manning, if I were running a franchise. What's his lifetime rating? 79? Unless you're black, that's not really all that impressive. I think his lifetime completion % is in the 50s, or damn close to it.

You can argue that Eli should be ahead of Mark Sanchez - maybe. I'll give you that.. but ahead of Sam Bradford? No. My reasoning will be clear as day in the next 10 years.

If I had to take one guy, I'd take Bradford, without even thinking about it. But to put Sam Bradford at #4 this soon, would just come off as being a homer. I left the homerism out of this list.

the fact that he is even on the list is homerism in itself, let alone #5

And the only reason you posted, is because you think Ben at #6 is too low.

              Your homerism blinds me.

I never said that, ben is right where he should be except brees should be in front of him

Sanchez above Eli right now is ridiculous. I don't care if Eli isn't even on your top 15 list, but to have that second year spic above him is ludicrous.

Eli is at #11, tied with Joe Flacco.

                      HOMER WAR!

I understand people shit on Eli every chance they get. For a winning QB, he sure gets a lot of crap. First, at least I'm not the homer claiming my teams rookie QB is among the five best QB in the league. lulz

Eli is definitely one of the top 10 guys in the league. I have no problem saying Peyton, Brady, Brees, Big Ben are better. I wouldn't even say Eli is #5 but to say there are SIX OTHER QBS better? lmao

I don't care if Bradford goes on to win a dozen Super Bowls...right now, he's a solid rookie QB.

With Eli as the starter, the Giants have never had a losing season. Over the past three years, the Giants offense has been top ten in both points scored and yards gained. And over the past three years, Eli's completion percentage has increased and he's on pace to set a career high.

My two criticisms of Eli are 1) He has yet to prove he can play in the wintry winds at the Meadowlands. THANKFULLY 2007 was played on the road....which eli played lights out football for four consecutive weeks...including outplaying Favre in his own building. Back to the criticism....2) He throws too many picks for my liking. This year he is on pace for 20+, which would be the second time in his career.

Lets look at Big Ben and Eli...

Eli has started 94 games in his career. Ben has started 88 games and has a 5% better completion percentage. Eli has a couple hundred more yards, more INTs and one more TD.

Eli's playoff record--- 4-3. Ben's record -- 8-2. Ben is the better QB, but Eli is in the discussion.

All based on your homeristic opinion.

If any non NYG fan wants to tell me Eli is top 10, I'll listen.

Coming from the King of Homers, I laugh.

I realize that we won't be winning many games this season, but hopefully, even my Rams brethren, the backstabbers, and bandwagon jumpers that they are, can finally forget about Marc Bulger and AJ Feeley, and start enjoying what's going to be a very bright future. I can honestly say I haven't been this excited about a quarterback since 1999, when Kurt Warner came in for a busted up, injury prone hack that was Trent Green. As good as Kurt Warner is, one of the greatest QBs in NFL history, you can't help but start the comparisons.. Sam Bradford has a better arm, slightly better accuracy, and about the same leadership capabilities, which will show more as the weeks go by.

It might not be fair to compare Sam Bradford to Kurt Warner this soon, but when you draft the best QB prospect in many many years, you can't help but be excited about the future. I'm not going to bash Washington either, because Mike Shanahan will even tell you, that McNabb wasn't his first choice to play under center - it was Sam Bradford. Shanahan worked the phones more than any other HC for that #1 spot, saying that Sam Bradford was the best QB prospect in years - something Shanahan and myself agree on.

While Sam is only 7th on my top 10 list for NFL quarterbacks, I have no doubt in my mind he'll be moving up as the seasons go by.

I might be a homer, but there's non of that in this thread.

I know when to draw the line.

Once you say Bradford is the 5th best QB in the league, RIGHT NOW, you're nothing but a homer.
