Okay but if his game was so impressive why are we talking about dropped TDs and should haves?

Every QB has TDs get dropped, also every QB has INTs and TDs that aren't really their "fault." If Tebow had a good game then there's no need to try and prop his numbers up with dropped TDs.

Tebow didn't go out and play awful like a lot of people (me included) thought he would, but he also didn't have some amazing performance like other people are trying to make it out to be. Let the guy play more games, and games that actually mean something, before we start the hype train.

As soon as Kyle Orton comes back, Tebow won't play for a while, so it doesn't really matter how well he played.

Exactly. I was trolling glen and goblin earlier about how much Tebow sucked and they obviously fell for it but I feel the same way as you.

Same goes for Jimmy Clausen. Glen thinks he is rubbing it in my face that I said Clausen will be a good NFL QB someday before the season and he has looked pretty bad this season but it doesn't mean shit. It's just their first season. Whether they do ok or suck doesn't matter.

Being a good NFL QB is all about consistency. Nothing else really matters.

On Inside the NFL this week:

Greg Gumbel: "Did Tim Tebow convince you on Sunday that he should be the starting Quarterback in Denver from now on?"

Warren Sapp: "On 16 pass attempts he completed 8 balls, 4 of them on screens, the one he threw in the end zone Stanford Routt and Michael Huff played it the worst I've ever seen a DB play a pass, and he's running down the middle of the field with one of these missed handoffs that he forgets to hand the ball off to the running back and then follows him into the hole...No. If you're quarterback cannot hand it off and throws 4 screens of his 8 completions, no, back to the drawing board."

          Well said, Warren.

Fuck Warren Sapp, that fat ass.

Tebow will have to prove himself to whichever new coaching staff comes to Denver next year. It's probable he will be behind the 8-ball and be a back-up, unless ownership looks for someone to come in and develop him.

I say, you let the guy use a 1st round pick on him (traded 3 picks for Tebow), give the guy a fair chance to develop into the franchise QB. Obviously he is new in the process of that, but open up the damn playbook for the guy. See what you have!

The Raiders opened up the playbook for JaBustas and look what happened. I say work him in slow. No need to force it.

lol no they didn't. They only called plays that isolated half of the field for him and he couldn't even handle that.

I've never had a problem with Warren. He's been harshly critical of the Raiders since retiring but who am I to argue with him?

While Warren Sapp is admittedly more qualified to opine on such things than yours truly, I don't think you judge a quarterback based on one game.

You can judge his performance for that game, though. Glen and Goblin were going on and on about how Tebow looked "great." Like I said before, only time will decide how good Tebow is. Look at Flacco and Ryan, they are just starting to look great, I wouldn't even say they are quite there yet.

Wow! It took Sam Bradford 12 games to get a 300 yards passing game, it only took Tim two games. He carried the team to victory, that's for sure.

Third place for me. I would have won it all, but the player I hate the most in the entire fucking league shit the bed for me in the semifinals last week. He put up one point. That's right the injury-prone, grinning retard known as Knowshon Moreno ruined my fantasy season. Fuck that guy.

Tim Tebow sure was a great pick up though for the playoff run.

He had over 25 points last week, and over 30 today.

Good for Tebow. Didn't catch the game but his statline looked good and most importantly, he got the win and brought the Broncos back from a pretty big deficit. I got no problem with giving a guy credit when he deserves it.
