It's a deep class at WR, we should just wait on that.
True, I was thinking DB more than WR, or maybe a TE Tony G won't be around much longer, without too many glaring needs I just figure that Matt Ryan gets more targets lol

By the end of the season we were starting our backup center at Right Guard, had a practice squad member as our 2nd string center and almost 75% of our offensive line was 30 or older.
Won't go WR IMO... TO and OchoCinco will be available, and the Foreskins need to get a QB and Snyder always wants to make a big splash... interior lineman aren't of any value at that pick either, Pouncey would be a pretty decent reach

At 285 Nevis could play DE on run downs and is a better pass rusher than the other DT's on your roster... regardless prob just a bad pick by me lol

The way Gene Smith drafts... your pick is probably closer to what it really will be than any other draftnik.

Yeah for the Jags just put all of the prospects on a dart board, close your eyes and then throw. Whatever position that player is, Gene will repeat to select for the next four rounds.

Not sure why everyone is tagging the Packers for picking a CB in the first round. Not going to happen. OLB or OL will be the first round pick.

Seriously, guy should be gone by the 10th pick.

I also have to LOL at both thinking Drake Nevis is 285 lbs. and that he could play DE.

I really don't understand why people think we're going CB with that pick. Prince is nice, but we have far bigger holes.

                  Give me Carimi.

That is, if my master plan to sully PP7's (and his mom's) name doesn't cause him to pull a Dez Bryant. Then scoop him up and move him to safety.

                  My thinking is this order

                  RT (Colombo is shot)
S (both of ours suck and idk what to think of AOA)
DE/DT (Ratliff can't do it alone)
G (Davis is a massive underachiever and Kosier is a UFA)
ILB (Sean Lee starts next year, but Bradie James is slowing down some)

I don't think the Lions will go offensive line in the first round. We'll be going Corner if Prince or Peterson is there, and linebacker if they aren't. The team right now only has one guy who is a legitimate NFL linebacker in Levy right now.

Our offensive line isn't good, but I'd consider it average. I wouldn't have a problem picking up an o-line player in the first round, I just don't think we will.

Have you seen exactly how bad your secondary is? Seriously, help is needed anywhere on defense... and Champ Bailey wants to play safety wouldn't be shocked to see Jerry go hard for him.

Matt Millen is gone, and so are the days of reaching that high... no LB in a 4-3 scheme is worth that pick, and maybe the fact that you played with your 2nd and 3rd string QB ALL year would make you think that you need a fucking oline ;)

We also need a lot of stuff on defense as much as we need an offensive line. I think it'll depend on who is there and we'll probably follow the best player available approach that Mayhew has been using.

I blame scheme, focus and injury before I knock the talent of Dallas' corners. They were fine against the pass when Wade was in charge but Pasqualoni's scheme was as vanilla as they come. Their INT totals went way up but it was far too easy to attack those loose zones.

Newman may not be a top CB anymore but his play in the last two months is an aberration. Playing on a bad leg and ribs will do that to you.

Jenkins is better than he's shown as well.

We have bigger issues in the secondary alone than the corners. At least another year before we go CB in 1 again.

25 Packers - RB Ryan Williams, VT

IDK about Mike Pouncey. Don't get me wrong. I like Mike Pouncey a lot and would love to see him a Green Bay Packer, but I can't see Ted Thompson taking OL first round two years in a row. Also, C Scott Wells is having probably his best season.

I can't see the Packers going RB in the first round either. Grant will be back and the running struggles this season proved how good he really is. The coaching staff and front office is also really high on Starks still.
