Nnamdi's never done what Darrelle Revis is doing now. So you can't say he has the same impact as Revis. He sits on one side of the field and gets thrown at once or twice a game. It's hard to even say what level Nnamdi has been playing at because of this. I know in '09 he allowed 15 catches on the 20 passes thrown his way which is not great. I couldn't tell you those numbers this year.

In '09 and '10 when Revis is healthy he has a much bigger impact than Nnamdi has ever had on the Raiders. The seasons argument is complete horseshit as well. If we're discussing who is more hall of fame worthy then thats a legit argument but when discussing who's better right now how many season's a players been doing what is completely irrelevant. Nnamdi is a very good player but Revis and his impact on the Jet's defense and on an opposing offense isn't even comparable.

So if you want to go by what someone does in one season, Arian Foster better than Adrian Peterson? Brandon Lloyd better than Andre Johnson?

This isnt 2009. He had a mediocre year.
Played stupendous last week. Welcome to the divisional round with an MVP and Greatest coach of the era.
As Parcells would say dont break out the annointing oils just yet.
Best reason to have a license.

Revis has also played on much better defenses than Nnamdi. One corner is not going to make an entire D better no matter how good he is.

The Raiders have been one of the worst run defenses in the league over the last few years because teams don't want to or need to pass because they've been able to run.

The Jets, on the other hand, have run an extremely aggressive blitz defense that gets pressure on the QB instantly. The Raiders rarely ever blitzed under Rob Ryan and the corners were left on an island by themselves routinely. It is much easier to play corner for a D coached by Rex Ryan, that is loaded with talent and revolves around a heavy blitz scheme.

Nnamdi has done just as well as any corner in the league when it comes to shutting down number 1 WRs. You're just hating on Nnamdi for reasons I don't understand.

This previous year Asomugha didn't just shadow one side he followed the best WR around. Asomugha is better than Revis.

I dunno who's better than who, what i do know is that the 1st time Jets played the pats, revis got so burned he pulled a hammy, and the 2nd time they played tom brady did what he wanted when he wanted throwing the ball, and didn't shy away from anywhere on the field. He didn't look so hot either of those games.

The fact that Asomugha is as good as Revis says enough. If someone at a position like a corner wants to be considered the best player in the NFL he better be leap and bounds ahead of anyone else in the position.

                  Revis has never been.

He's not even the best defensive player in the lg, let alone the best player period.

                    Personally i'd take this fella

There's another guy in Baltimore who's pretty good too.

he's not even the best CB in the division.

I would say some of you are seriously underrating Revis' abilities. I'm not sure he's the best player in the league, but he certainly in the top 3-5. I guess people are just tired of Rex Ryan's talk. The Colts still can't find Reggie Wayne.

Well he played great in the 1st playoff game....if he plays like this and beat the Pats then his status will increase.

Though when he was hurting Harvin pwned him.

Lets Dennis Green Style crown his ass because he had one great year.

P.S. McCourty's rookie season with 7 Int's, 2FF and 82 combined tackles top Revis' career bests over his 4 years.

Lets see how many times he grabs his hamstring when the Pats are dancing in the endzone on Sunday.
