How fitting this is. The Bears had a chance to knock the Packers out of the playoffs for good, and they failed. They get a chance to redeem themselves when it really counts: the NFC title game, with a Super Bowl birth on the line.

Let the Black and Blue game begin.

the Bears werent going to benefit from anything winning that game. it was obvious that they did lay down a little.

Except the thrill of beating the Packers.

They obvious didn't seem to really care about that thrill.

Mike Martz looked like he'd stripped the playbook down to about two and a half pages, and Jay Cutler was doing his "hungover against the Packers in a meaningless game Rex Grossman" impression.

And I still say the Bears are glad to be facing the Packers - a team that failed when it mattered and they have already beaten at home instead of the team that sacked Cutler 8 times in 30 minutes of play.
