If anyone is interested here is a link to buy the stocking caps ND was wearing on the sidelines last night.
Amazon.com: adidas Notre Dame Fighting Irish Under The Lights Knit Hat One Size Fits All: Sports & Outdoors

Also, like JayRock and everyone has been saying the Champs Sports Bowl looks like a lock at this point. We'd more than likely be playing F$U. Second straight bowl season of a rivalry from the late 80's early 90's era coming back.
F$U would worry me a heck of a lot more than Miami did last season. But it would give me an excuse to watch the 1993 game over again.
Also, fuck NBC for showing all the clips from BC losses over the last 20 years at the end of the broadcast the other night.
I was almost full on mode watching those.
The line for the game right now has ND as 24.5 pt favorites.Comment

My dad got them thru his work, supposed to be a birthday present for me from early September.
I don't know much of the details, except we are flying up really early saturday morning and then just exploring. The only thing on the agenda is the game, so I am sure most of the day it will just be seeing whatever we can and drinking. It is just me and my dad going btw.
We will probably stay the night on saturday and fly back sunday.
Any advice on must see things would be great since we aren't from the area.Comment

-Get to the bookstore. Get that Irish Swag.
-Take the obligatory TD Jesus picture.
-Watch the band come into the stadium(about an hour and half before kick off)
-Save the Grotto for after the game. Much more beautiful at night.

I'm sure there's more but I'm spacing at the moment. Find some people to drink with before the game. Shouldn't be too hard. It's easy to walk around and find someone to steal a beer or two off of and talk to for 10-30 minutes. I've done that probably 10 times and usually end up trashed.
Pregam concert on the steps is awesome. But depending on how long you're stuck in the bookstore or what time you get to campus you may not make it. If you are parking at The Eddy Street Commons gargage(highly recommended) there is a bookstore extension there you can hit up and not have to fight the massive amount of people at the campus one.
Mass afterwards is great but it fills up fast. At least make it to the Grotto.Comment

Forgot about Prestwood, probably could of used him earlier this year but the line has gelled of late.. I'm sure Jenkins or Warner will wreck NDs line though
