Martin was the OC and called plays with Kelly at GVSU, where I think he always had the offense ranked in the top 25 in D2.

I don't have a problem with the move as it give Diaco more responsibility on defense, who I believe to be the best coach at ND.

Take it FWIW... but hearing that Taylor Decker may be joining Hinton and Werriner in coming to Ohio State.

I doubt Decker goes anywhere besides ND. He has been solid if not the most solid "highly rated" commit this season.

ND is in the running for a lot of guys and it's hard to see where some of these guys will go right now. Guys like Agholor, Armstead, Poole, Neal, Ifeadi, Fuller, and McNamara(really this list can go on for days), are all keeping ND around but none have had ND as the favorite.

Personally where the class is now, I really love what has been put together. The only guys I think we need, but haven't gotten are Yuri Wright and Shumate. It's no surprise that the weakest part of the team is secondary. In the bowl game Jackson played some and looked lost thru most of it. Wood never saw the field. Jamoris probably needs to be a nickel db instead of safety because he is so strong off the edge. And this leaves Zeke Motta as the most experienced and probably best db on the roster. YIKES! I have high hopes for guys like Hardy and Brown but they are inexperienced and young. Holding onto Tee, Darby, and landing Yuri and Shumate would do wonders for the defense.

Dline is solid with Day as Nix's backup, and Jones as Tuitt's. Armstead would be jackpot winning to have him cycle with Lynch/Tuitt. I really think the Dline is the strongest on the team.

LB was mostly solidified last year, but I wished we couldve landed a ILB in this cycle. Carlo and Fox are pretty much what they are, and Grace is pretty much Diaco's option in the middle. Apparently he loves the kid. Okwara will be good for the depth.

I love the WR position if we can hold onto Deontay. Deontay with Daniels seem very young and talented and will probably start next year. Brown and Ferguson are great guys to cycle in and out with TJ. Neal would be a nice get for slot position.

I also like the depth at RB with Mahone and now Russell. But I hope Roberson comes back healthy because I think he is what ND needs as a compliment to Wood. I really want GA3 at WR because I don't think he has what it takes at RB. I think the coaches feel the same way too. He has straight line speed, and can't break tackles. Practice catching balls George.

I've said before I am really clueless about how the Oline works, but if Golic never sees the field again that would be just fine. Decker and Stanley are great additions.

Like I said I am mostly set on landing Yuri and Shumate, with maybe Neal as a prize, plus the current class all sticking around.

It doesn't really matter how solid his commitment has been all season... the point man on his recruitment (Hinton) and his future position coach (Warriner) are both gone from ND and at Ohio State now.

Chris Badger will be in the mix too.

We will see. he reaffirmed the commit even with the Hinton to OSU initial rumors swirling. Who knows.

If he goes to OSU good luck. Whatver.

It will be interesting to see what weight he comes in at. I wouldn't be surprised if he redshirts so guys like Collinsworth get some playing time.

It will be interesting to see the Hendrix-Golson battle with Tommy taking 3rd string snaps. I wonder if Kelly will invite Goodman back for his 5th year so Rees can try to hit him in double coverage some more on a first down in the final drive of the game.

                      There will be no battle.

Looks like the two best recruits in Tee and Deontay are solid, with Tee ready to EE.

“I’m 100-percent committed to Notre Dame, I fly out tomorrow night and enroll,” Shepard told Justin Hopkins of 247Sports. “That isn’t changing.”

Decker reconfirmed his commitment to ND.

Looks like we could be in the running heavy for both Arik Amrstead AND his brother Armond who will be transferring from USC

                                Disappointing, but oh well.

Kid's going to be a good one, has the best tools/athleticism of any tackle in the midwest.
