The Seahawks' agreement with Tarvaris Jackson hurt. The Inquirer suggests that the Eagles "priced themselves out" of a deal with Seattle, which wasn't willing to surrender a first-round pick. League sources still tell the paper that a trade is "bound to get done," probably with the Cardinals. For running back DeAngelo Williams, it's a pretty simple decision, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, who says Williams will play for either the Carolina Panthers or Denver Broncos this fall.
Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports the Giants have been working since yesterday to restructure Jacobs' contract, according to an NFL source, in an effort to get far enough under the $120.375 million salary cap that they can make a strong bid to retain Ahmad Bradshaw. They have been in constant contact with Bradshaw's agent and may have even made an actual contract offer.
