Is this before or after they trade for Brady, Megatron and Peterson?

I don't think they will go back to Owens, even though McNabb is not there anymore. However, Randy Moss teamed with Maclin and Jackson would be absolutely sick.

I was thinking they wouldnt but if they can pull a talent like Owens for cheap I dont see why they wouldnt. Owens was on his best "behavior" in Cincy and may take short change for a last ditch effort at getting a ring.

If I was Philly I would give em both 1 year deals. To many fucking match up problems all over the field. Thery are already on some AM team type shit, might as well go all the way.

Free agent WR Malcom Floyd is "nearing a decision," according to NFL.com's Jason La Canfora.
Floyd is the biggest free agent piece left on the market from a fantasy perspective. The Chargers are said to still be interested if the price is right, but the Ravens are among the front-runners. The Panthers, Cardinals, and 49ers are also in the mix. We're expecting Floyd to land with the highest bidder.

LOL @ Aubrayo Franklin thinking he'd hit it big this offseason, and only getting a 1 year deal.

I thought Franklin would get a big deal. Good 3-4 NT's are hard to come by and he's a good one. I was surprised but the Saints have a decent front 7 now and Gregg Williams should be able to make it look much better than it actually is.

I'm surprised the 49ers themselves didn't give him a bigger/longer contract. Outside of Pat Willis, Franklin was the 2nd best defender on the field. Not to mention he kept lineman off Willis and allowed him to roam free from sideline to sideline.

Ahem, I'd give Justin Smith the honor of 2nd best player on that 49ers defense. He was stout against the run and a beast of an interior pass rusher. Underrated.

Exactly what I said about Gerald Sensabaugh.

More Niner news, they are bringing in Braylon Edwards today. It's horrible. Edwards is a deep threat guy, and Alex Smith doesn't have a big arm.

Personally, I'd give up on Smith, but Harbaugh see's something in him I guess. Or may be Harbaugh knows something I don't, like Smith won't be the QB for very much longer. Either way if they sign Edwards, he will have little to now chance of being on my fantasy football team this year.

Braylon was involved in a bar fight over the weekend. He's looking at a long way up to climb out of the hole he is digging.

Also don't know if this was reported, but LeRon McClain is a Chief now.

Alex Smith is working on a 1 year deal. So essentially he's holding things over until the great Colin Kaepernick (who has a cannon of an arm) is ready to step in.

"the great Colin Kaepernick" might be overstating a bit much. But yea he does have a cannon of an arm. I was going to say, maybe they want Edwards because Harbaugh assumes Kaepernick will start at some point this season, but I couldn't spell Kaepernick and decided to leave him out of my post. lol
