Steelers signed OLB LaMarr Woodley to a six-year, $61.5 million contract.
Woodley will make a staggering $18.1 million in 2011 and $27 million over the first two years of the deal. It makes him the second highest-paid Steeler of all time, behind only Ben Roethlisberger. Woodley, who won't be 27 until November, has racked up 35 sacks over the last three seasons as the prototypical outside linebacker in Dick LeBeau's 3-4 scheme. He was previously set to play this season on a one-year tender as the team's franchise player.
