Really didn't realize Griffin was that bad.
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

Yeah, RGIII is looking good so far

McDonald just destroyed him by the way.

Jim Harbaugh has got to be wondering why this is a tied game at this point

Is it me or did the defense, particularly the pass rush, get better when Orakpo went to the IR

yes - i am sure that Moses' blocking didnt have an impact.
Moses' 1st start in NFL and it showed. he got owned on that play.
                that was Bobby's fault

                also;
i am sure the unnecessary block in the back to put them on their own 10 for their last drive was Bobby' fault.

                and
i am sure that 15 yard penalty on Boldin by Clark, which gave the 49ers a 43 yard play in total, was Bobby's fault too (on that posession)

as much RGIII didnt play like "we wanted him to"; it was not all his fault. at least he didnt throw any INTs, get hurt or force bad throws.

                but
                oh well.......

                anyway;
bring on the Colts next week !!

Griffin is bad and 2012 only made things worse. He is poorly trained in the basics of being a passer. 3 step drops, 5 steps drops, recognizing when receivers are open/going to be open, and getting quickly to second and third reads.

It's really not helping that the offensive line is shit. So glad they dropped 8 million on DJax and 11 million on Orakpo. Definitely couldn't have used that money on the offensive line.

Bottom line is that the Redskins need to draft oline heavy in the next draft and get a guard in free agency. They'll have a top 5 pick. Trade back to the 9-12 spot, get a RT. They should get at least another second rounder out of that trade. Use their first second rounder on the best C or G you can. Use the next on the best NT or safety. Sign a top tier OG in free agency. Next offseason is going to be filled with young skill players. Ignore them. Build up the trenches.

Worst case scenario is that Griffin sucks as much next season as he has the past two and you let him walk. Gruden can draft a QB he wants who will fall in behind a quality offensive line with decent skill players to work with.

Rak will be gone unless he signs for less than or equal to Murphy or likes of Riley.
we dont really need him. our defense is Top 10 last i checked.
we could use another FS/SS but the kid Ducre played nicely yesterday.

OLine is a must - Compton on the right and Moses on the Left is not really looking good. they are getting man-handled by vets on the other-side of the ball.
Yes - Bobby needs to get rid of the ball sooner
Yes - Bobby needs make better reads on defense
Yes - Bobby is looking pretty dismal

                    But
this kid needs the benefit of the doubt. he had had 2 coaches in 3 season, 2 systems and shitty OLine all 3 years.

i remember Jason Campbell coming from Auburn who was supposed to be really good for us but; he had 3-4 coaches in 4 years??
he was destined for ruin during that time.......

i wouldnt go drafting another QB until at least the 4th+ rounds??
                    BUT
i would NOT trade away that 1st round pick. we need a new Franchise player......on defense - like a DL or Stud WR.
we can pick up in FA or trade for more OL with Rak not making anywhere near to $11mil next year (if he takes next to nothing)

Maybe he should have spent a little less time selling out to all the advertisers that bought into his hype.

On the road against the Colts could be the end of him starting, unless the Colts decide to not show up which has happened this year.

Humble, you're my boy and all, but seriously, stop drinking the RGIII kool-aid. Just like last year, with the same offensive line, Cousins has been sacked less than Griffin.

It's not just all about pocket awareness. He's taking the wrong drops on passes, he handed off straight into the FB on a play forgetting they were there, he locks onto his targets, these aren't things a third-season professional should be doing. Not even backup quarterbacks make those mistakes.

I'm all for giving him the rest of the season behind center because it only gets us a better draft position, and not only that, but it really gives RGIII that final chance to prove he can make improvements. I doubt he can, but he does deserve the chance to do so.

By the way, this is a 3-8 team with the following statistics. I know they don't tell the whole story, but you can't tell me this team doesn't have some talent on i. The problem is solely behind center at this point.

Rushing Offense: 112 YPG (15th in NFL)
Passing Offense: 253.2 YPG (9th in NFL)

Rushing Defense: 100.7 YPG (9th in NFL)
Passing Defense: 230.3 YPG (8th in NFL)

And has been benched for the McCoy-chise

I thought that it might happen in Week 16 or 17, but not this early. With his performance in the Dallas game and leading the team to victory on the road, McCoy deserved a shot to stake his claim for a roster spot next year with the Redskins.

I feel less confident about the Colts winning with McCoy behind center.

Still pretty confident, but a little less now.
