Results aren't pretty.

Nearly went to the playoffs in the worst division in NFL history, and finished a fantastic 7-9 with one of the softest schedules (based on winning percentage of the opponents) in NFL history.

I've seen enough, Spags is shit. If the team is bad, that's one thing, but they are the same disorginized mess that they were under Lamehan. Amazingly, they've managed to get worse.

I don't even get mad anymore, I expect them to perform terribly. I can deal with bad players, I can't deal with this lack of leadership from the coaching staff. One and done for this clown, just like Cam Cameron in Miami.

Yeah that bothered me to no end...you have one of the best power backs in the NFL, and they get CUTE.

They want to hand it to Cadillac (who is more like a beat up ford focus right now), they want to have Bradford throw fades, back shoulder passes, rollouts, etc...cut the cute shit out.

To me it should be Jackson to the end, especially when your QB is clearly playing on a bum ankle and he's the best offensive player on that team.

Yeah, this completely baffled me when I saw it live. Not only were they not running it, they weren't even faking it: Bradford was in shotgun with 2 receivers on each side, there was an empty set I believe in there as well.

Even if it came down to Spagnuolo's decision, you'd think SOMEBODY within the organization would be saying, "uhh, hey Spags, you think we should run it here?" There's no reason Jackson shouldn't get all 7 touches from the one. I don't care if everyone knows it. Anything a yard or less and it's TWITTY time (that's why I'm tougher than you). Feed your horse and let him finish the job.

I don't understand the logic of doing everything at the one yard line but hand it off to Steven Jackson. I just don't understand what he could possibly be thinking to justify it. Hand the fucking thing off to your best player.

This is why I always say, at the end of the day, it's on the head coach. The head coach is the boss. He approves the gameplan, he approves the goaline packages/gameplan for that particular opponent, etc.

Even if it's the coordinator calling the plays, as is the case with the Rams, all Spags has to do is get on the headset or walk over to McDaniels and say, "enough of this shit, get 39 in the game and give him the ball four times". Obviously he has been ok with ignoring the teams best player for three seasons and two coordinators.

People love to blame the offensive playcallers, but the buck stops with the man in charge. Is it coincidental that the Rams have ignored Jackson on the goaline for three seasons? Is it coincidental that the Rams love the third down give up run for three seasons running? No, it's the head coach either calling for this shit, or not over riding it. Either way, he falls on the sword.
