point blank- Bama has no business being in this game in the first place..this is the ultimate in a fixed match up to amuse people with money and powerComment

Im simply saying some people could realistically vote LSU over Bama even if they lose a playoff game.
FT is slowly coming around, i just need him to agree that its more possible than 0.0000000000001%Comment

CFB is also the only sport that doesn't have a playoff system. COINCIDENCE?
Your logic is incredibly backwards. Henry Ford invents the automobile, but you say we shouldn't produce automobiles "because nobody knows how to drive them".Comment

Then again a massive number more people would vote for Bama because it make sense basedon the way people think about and view playoffs. It's like the one or two writers voting for Boise each year they went undefeated. Sure it happened...but it didn't mean anything or change anything.Comment

I could say that its a realistic possibility that Ohio State doesn't sniff a national title game if a playoff system is developed...but is that really a "point"?
I'm not disputing what you say, I'm asking you "why are you saying this?"Comment

What is meant by "realistic possibility"? And thats not really a "point", its an observation.

As FT and Sensor have said 56 times, (that's an exaggeration, don't take it literally) sure people could still say LSU>Bama even if Bama beat LSU in the NCCG after a playoff, but, those people would be in the minority and it wouldn't change a thing.
I'll break it down further and space it out in both scenarios for you:
Scenario 1
100 voters (again, made up number)
Bama>LSU with no playoff
51 vote LSU #1
49 vote Bama #1
Scenario 2
100 voters
Bama>LSU with a playoff
98 vote Bama #1
2 vote LSU #1
Do you see the difference? Majority of people voted LSU #1 in the scenario with no playoff, so obviously it makes a difference because of the subjectivity of how Bama got into the game. The 2 people who voted for LSU in scenario 2 don't make a fucking difference because there is no subjectivity because it was all decided on the field.Comment

Many people happen to believe Bama was deserving of the #2 spot, so they wouldnt need them to win a playoff game for them to be "deserving"Comment
