Final Round
You need to actually have one previous game for it to be a round, otherwise you just sound like a retard.

Sorry that you have invalid arguments and you decided to argue what a round was. I guess you completely looked over my well thought out and nicely typed post. I'll stoop to your brain capacity next time.Comment

Just because you dont know what my argument is doesnt make it invalid. I didnt decide to argue it, you did. Ok its not a round, i dont care, has zero relevance to my point (which you dont even know).Comment

Can you read? I already conceded its not a round, not necessarily because i agree, but mostly because i dont give the slightest shit, and it has absolutely zero relevance to the discussion. Now STFU and GTFO.Comment

So why don't they call it the Bowl Championship Tournament then?
I am amazed at what you lend credence to in this discussion, while at the same time you ignore all logic.
You can't have a playoff because the AP people might release a poll after the playoff is over, thus rendering the playoff meaningless. You can't have a playoff because the BCS people (mysterious group) would "pick the teams" for all the playoff games, thus rendering the playoff meaningless. You can't have a playoff because Dr. Saturday said in his Yahoo sports blog that the NCAA would probably use the BCS ranking system to determine the playoff teams, which is the equivalent to allowing the BCS people (mysterious group) to pick the champion.
None of your points/arguments make sense. No one cares if the AP people decide to release a poll...AND NO ONE CAN STOP THEM. The BCS people (mysterious group) can't "pick the teams" if you have a tournament set up. The only tournament in which the BCS people can "pick the teams" is your hypothetical one-game tournament that pits #1 vs. #2. No one cares what Dr. Saturday thinks.
Pretty awesome...according to Zoneblitz, the main obstruction to getting a playoff in college football is Dr. Saturday's blog article.Comment

Wait, you think my point was about the definition of a round?

Amazes me that you seem to no longer want to discuss the topic, yet want to go off-topic.
Seems that's not allowed in the Sports forum. Now get back on topic.Comment
