lol thats what you always say when you're backed into a corner with your own fail postings.

You've been at CSS too long and their retardation must be rubbing off on you.

        Whats your point?

That was a bad example i gave at first, but all along my point has been that the loser of the title game shouldnt be voted number 1...it should be a game for the title (both BCS and AP)...and you've disagreed with that.

That's how I'm seeing it. Even if they are not AP voters, they did say it.

            Also:

The AP asked voters who cast ballots for its Top 25 a few questions before the BCS game.

Do you expect to vote the winner of the Alabama-LSU game No. 1?
Would you consider voting LSU No. 1 even if it lost?
Would you consider voting another team -- ie Oklahoma State or Stanford -- No. 1?
Forty-four of the 60 voters responded, and the bottom line is that there still is some wiggle room.

The most common answer was some version of what Ray Ratto of CSN Bay Area wrote in an email: "Anything is a possibility among the top 3. And should be. Otherwise, why would we bother?"

Some were more adamant about where they stood.

Eleven voters said the winner of the BCS championship game will no doubt be their No. 1.

"If Alabama wins, I'm voting the Tide (hash)1," wrote Garland Gillen of WWL-TV in New Orleans. "Championships are won in January not November."

Three voters, however, said that in a system that stresses the importance of the regular season and without a playoff to decide who's No. 1 at the end, LSU already has earned their votes.

"I will vote for LSU no matter what happens in the National Championship game," wrote Erik Gee of KNML-AM in Albuquerque, N.M. "How in the world can they be the SEC west champ, the outright SEC champ, and lose to Alabama in a "neutral" site game (I guess you can debate the Superdome being a neutral site) after they have already beaten them in Tuscaloosa, have the series split 1-1 and not at least have a share of the National Title?"

In fact your article hints as to the context.

You love hiding behind semantics and pointless side-arguments.

If Bama beats LSU, would you still vote for LSU as #1?

why is this happening? hasnt LSU beat them twice in the last 2 years? and they beat them in Alabama...so you get a nat. champ game against a team who beat you in your house? who slept with who to make this happen? and give me one of the suitcases full of money that caused this...

ESPN slept with college football and they made a shit ton of money. It's pretty obvious to me at this point that that ESPN wanted the ratings, because they were salty that CBS had the first meeting and it drew the biggest number of the season. ESPN wanted to orchestrate another one for the ratings, and they did everything in their power to trump up public sentiment for a rematch. (Going so far as to remove broadcasters who might go against the company line from games, or allowing Nick Saban two hours of free air time to stump for his team on THE MORNING OF THE VOTE ... things like that.)

Here's hoping it backfires and fewer fans watch it out of disgust. There are blatant ethical concerns to be found here. Can't wait to read the book about it someday.

Besides the ethics, it's just stupid voting. It stems from after Bama lost and moved down the #4 in the rankings. In my opinion, they should have been out of the top 5 at the point. With losses by OK State and Stanford, that put Bama in the position to be in the #2 seed once again. I don't think it's right for a team to lose and stay in the same position, if they are in the top 5 or 10, so the drop of OK State from #2 makes sense.

                                Question is irrelevant.

The fact that you asked the question you did shows me that you still aren't getting it.
