Actually the thread topic is "Would Alabama be deserving of #1"...not "Would you vote them #1". Depending on results of the NCG you could have three teams you feel are deserving of a NC. What one you vote for is a separate question.

Its not a separate question, because if someone says Alabama is not deserving of #1, then logically speaking that person would have another #1 in mind, and they would state it. Unless that person is FirstTimer and loves to argue with no purpose.

If someone says Alabama is undeserving they could still have two other teams that they think are.

If Alabama beats LSU are they deserving of #1? IMO Yes. To what degree...that depends on how the games goes.
