i havent cried like i did sunday in along time. wow it still sinking in.

I got a little teary eyed, but I didnt cry. Mainly when porter picked it and I realized O shit we just won. Granted being a saints fan there was a part of me that thought peyton could possibly score, get the ball, score again, and then we go to OT.

I think we all were expecting Manning to march down the field and tie the game after the 2 point conversion put the Saints up by 7, and he was on his way to doing just that when Porter made the pick 6. I think that was what made it such a great play because everyone has built Manning up into this machine that doesn't make mistakes and then that one play made them remember that he is human after all. I didn't think it was game over but I knew the Colts chances to send it into OT went into the highly unlikely category as soon as Porter picked that pass and took it to the house.

I know that Randall Gay and Devery Henderson are Louisiana natives too but I think Porter has gone into Hokie Gajan territory as far as how much he is loved by the local population now.

I still have Brees as the greatest. Vilma would be the second in my book. Porter will slowly creep up as the greatest Saints CB of all time if he stays with us. I think Greer is a bit better as an all around CB, but porter makes the plays people remember.

Being that I played defense I am fonder to that side of the ball. I love Drew and that fantastic offense, but I love defense. Porter sealed the two biggest games in Saints history
