They don't really need him at this point. Williams is going to be huge for any team that picks him up, there is no doubting that, but the Texans still posses one of the best linebacking corps in the league without him. They should spend that money elsewhere- primarily getting a #2 receiver.

And this sets things up for Forte and Rice to get paid, but I bet both teams don't extend either player.
