Grade My Team: The Bounty Hunters

10 team league, 6pts for all TDs.

    QB: Aaron Rodgers

    WR: Wes Welker
    WR: Vincent Jackson

    RB: Stephen Jackson
    RB: Darren Sproles

    TE: Antonio Gates

    WR/TE: Percy Harvin

    WR/RB: Rashad Jennings

    K: Sebastian Janikowski

    D/SPT: Philly

    BN: Kevin Smith
    BN: Jonathan Stewart
    BN: Justin Blackmon
    BN: Lance Moore
    BN: Ben Roethlisberger

Looks like Smith and Stewart are already hurt but I think they will both have solid seasons once they get to 100%. Smith is always hurt, but he can be a decent spot starter the weeks that he is healthy and I need a bye fill-in.

I think Lance Moore and Blackmon are both solid depth WRs, I expect both to have some really nice weeks. It's only a 10 team league so I'm not sure if I want to keep Big Ben but I'll stick with him for now. Jared Cook and Greg Olsen are both on the wire and I think both could have really good seasons so I may snag one of them while they are still available.

What do you guys think? What kind of value do Smith and Stewart have? I really wanted Cedric Benson as my 3rd HB but he got taken right before my pick in a late round.

I'd really like to pick up Isaiah Pead to handcuff Jackson but I don't know who to drop for him. Should I drop Big Ben for him?

Jacquizz Rodgers is also available and worth a spot because he has a lot of upside, especially if Turner is banged up this year.

Not sure what I'm gonna do just yet but I'm leaning towards dropping Big Ben for either Rodgers or Pead.

I really don't like the Wes Welker pick highly overrated in fantasy IMO. You got to hope Harvin stays healthy and a long hold out by MJD.

He had 1500 yards and 9 TDs last season. He went over 100 yards in 8 games last season, and he had 9 TDs in 16 games. He's gone over 1,000 yards in 4 of the last 5 seasons.

You can say you expect him to have a down year, but you can't really say he is overrated. He's as consistent as it gets and that's exactly what I needed and wanted with a QB like Rodgers.

Well I just don't see him putting up big numbers at all this season. With the 2 TE's fully intact with the offense and Brandon Lloyd can't see how much he can produce for FF.

I'm going to use this thread to keep track of my moves and season for fun.

                  Pre-Season:

I've dropped Big Ben for Isaiah Pead.

I really dont like 10 or less person leagues. I think 12 is the perfect number.

I get where you're coming from but I think Welker is the number 1 target on that team. Lloyd will be a deep thread, Gronk and Hernandez will get theirs because they are mismatch guys, but Welker is the slot guy and Brady's go to guy in certain situations. I fully expect him to get 1000 yards and at least 8 TDs. I don't need him to go for 1500 and 9 again like last season, I just need him to chip in every week.

I took him as the 3rd WR selected overall behind Calvin and Julio. Looking back, probably a little too soon but I just couldn't trust the other guys as much. I am really high on Brandon Marshall but I felt like it was too much of a chance. Like I said, if I don't get Rodgers, I'm probably drafting a different WR that has a higher ceiling.

I like the team. Good value in Rashad Jennings, and hopefully he will get some carries early. Not sold on your RBs, as Jackson is close to the end and there is no telling how many points Sproles will get from week to week. I like just about everything else there.

I think Welker is easily a top 5 fantasy receiver

                            Calvin
                            Roddy White
                            Andre Johnson
                            Fitz
                            Welker

Touchdowns on a year to year basis are a little unpredictable. If it's a PPR Welker might be #1 because of his consistancy (Calvin has 1 elite season). Andre Johnson is coming off injury and Fitz has major QB issues. I think it's silly to ding Roddy White because Julio Jones MIGHT be better than him.
