I am almost certain all of your first paragraph is false. Valentine would be All-Cane if this head coaching sitch didn't arise.

Grade risk...for Miami...Orange. For LSU...Yellow. He has more to do in the classroom before he goes to any school.

Oh I know but since then LSU's only two current DL commits (Godchaux and Clark) have started wavering so it's amped up the need for Valentine. Thus I am #allin on the hype wagon.

Thinking Clark is still solid, but his mom is reportedly undergoing treatments for cancer. That's why OU is a real consideration. Can't blame him if he wants to stay near the family.

Godchaux is anybody's guess. The double-speak is not worth trying to interpret anymore.
