Would be curious to see where Wilson, Luck, Kaepernick, Newton, etc all fall on this list. Not sure why they were omitted to begin with. The "experience" thing is lame considering Kaep has been to 2 NFC Title games and a Super Bowl, Wilson has a Super Bowl title, Luck has a playoff win, Newton has great seasons.. and so forth.

they haven't played long enough
for every QB who has 10 years of experience and at least 5 years as their team's majority starter with at least 2 years starting from 1966 or later (Super Bowl Era).
the explanation from the guy who made the thread about only using Super Bowl era stats/players
I had to throw out pre super bowl because of the problems with the playoffs. If I lost the play offs, Baugh would have been right in front of Brady. Otto Graham would have finished first and Montana second.
Throwing out pre Super Bowl is stupid. NFL Championship games & NFL titles before the SB existed are just as prestigious as the Super Bowl.
The NFL Title games of the early 60's that took place pre Super Bowl were more legitimate games than the early Super Bowl games, because all of the best teams were in the NFL anyway. Saying pre merger & realignment Super Bowl games carry more meaning than pre Super Bowl NFL title games is not understanding history. The league didn't start at Super Bowl I. Those pre SB Packer championships are no less important than the two Super Bowl champion Packer teams that ended up beating inferior competition anyway.

of course but a majority of 60 year old critical thinking football/ sports fans don't waste a lot of time bantering on the internet about this stuff. Therefore you get the 20/30 something's who are a stat click away from knowing everything as far as they're concerned. History be damned

are you black ? because I aint. Did you read the original post at all ? I didn't make the list. He points to what he calibrated. This is about individual stats not about your opinion about certain accomplishments....well, it sorta is LOL
but thanks for pointing those out because obviously the ultimate point is to spark some form of QB debate no matter how ridiculous or true it might be or which angle this guy chose
Many people would argue that Graham was better than Montana. Madden himself says that... Grahams 8 Championships support that. I'm not sure I'm willing to go that far but it isn't really a stretch to say it.
Like I said.. that's a weak excuse. Russell Wilson already has a Super Bowl victory under his belt and a career rating of 101. Aaron Rodgers has a career rating of 105 and a Super Bowl ring.
I'd take Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck, Colin Kaepernick and Cam Newton over a lot of these guys on the list

When did Madden say that ?
Madden has said many times Joe Montana is the GOAT. During Bradys record season he reiterates how this is the closest he's seen someone operate on Montana's level.
