Earlier this offseason, the Buccaneers tried and failed to trade guard Davin Joseph before ultimately releasing him.
But the two-time Pro Bowler now has a new job with the Rams.
St. Louis is in the middle of reworking its offensive line. It drafted tackle Greg Robinson with the No. 2 overall pick this month and could make him the starting left guard this year, and though guard Rodger Saffold left to sign a free agent deal with the Raiders, he returned to St. Louis when Oakland failed him during his physical.
Meanwhile, Jake Long seems entrenched at left tackle if he's successful at rehabbing from knee surgery.
All of which means Joseph, who hasn't played well the past few years, could be a backup with the Rams. But Pro Football Focus also sent out this Twitter warning a few months ago. So, for gosh sakes, take caution, St. Louis.
