thats because they were trying to sign Gomi and he was at the shows, like I said, just because Joe mentions a name here and there doesnt mean thats not how they have always done business

like when they used to say 'uhh, this guy used to fight in Japan', or have pretty much erased Tito, Frank, Frye or whoever isnt a part of the Zuffa UFC, they wouldnt even show Randy on camera in the corner of his fighter and no one even mentioned he was corning his fighter

This is how the UFC does business, everyone knows why they do it, they are protecting there brand, they control the announcers (Joe get a little free reign), the press (kicking out certain website media that dont have a pro UFC vibe), etc.. if you dont think so you're in the clouds

right now it is run more like the WWE than a sport where its open and a part of a whole sport that is going on outside of the UFC

reading is fundamental..... Is Hatton a big time boxer? and while Hatton was decent at 140.... he always struggled with speed doesnt move his head at all and was an easy target for Manny.... name a bigtime fighter Hatton has beaten besides Kostya Tszyu....i'll wait.....

oh damn, im waiting for no reason... your not a boxing fan......

Hatton's his career is essentially over now..... two big fights, two bad knockouts.... He has to go back to the drawing board.... not sure if he wants any parts of any of the top 140 pound fighters right now either such as..... oh wait..... your not a boxing fan....

This wasn't when they were trying to bring him in. He's talked about him during BJ Penn fights, and when talking about Nick Diaz, who also isn't in the UFC.

like when they used to say 'uhh, this guy used to fight in Japan', or have pretty much erased Tito, Frank, Frye or whoever isnt a part of the Zuffa UFC, they wouldnt even show Randy on camera in the corner of his fighter and no one even mentioned he was corning his fighter
Again, they talked about Randy and Tito during both of their hiatuses. Just because they didn't point out that Randy was cornering somebody doesn't mean shit. How often do they point the corner out?

They do some of this, but not anywhere near the extent you're implying.

right now it is run more like the WWE than a sport where its open and a part of a whole sport that is going on outside of the UFC
How often do you hear about professional leagues outside the US when watching an NBA game?

You bring nothing to the table with weaker insults. How refreshing.

I watch some of the fights. I didn't watch the Cotto fight. I used to follow the sport, but now it sucks so I don't so much. So you think Cotto will beat Manny?

damn, again i cant laugh at you too hard.... you arent a boxing fan, yet you continue to make prediction and try to show knowledge of the sport..... sigh.... real quick... did you watch the Hatton Castillo fight? if you did you would know that Castillo had to lose 3 pounds the day of the weigh-in, not only that, Castillo was a shell of his former shelf and in serious financial debt which is the main reason he even took the fight.....not to mention Castillo never held a belt at 140 nor has he fought at 140 since that fight...which again, bring me back to my original question what 140 pound fighter has Ricky Hatton defeated that would be considered elite (besides Kotzya) at that weight class? ..

the answer is no one..... he was a product of the media essentially, fought the fight of his life against Kotzya.... beat a couple of washed-up scrubs called out Floyd and Pacman and got knocked out.... which essentially ended his career...

That actually wasn't your question, but whatever. You think Cotto will beat Manny?

again..... reading is fundamental...... and i DO think Cotto will beat Manny if the fight is at 147......i think its too big of a weight jump for Pac... he beat Hatton at 140, but that doesnt really impress me given Hatton's weaknesses (porous defense, lack of head movement and lack of hand speed)..... I think Cotto should be able to bully Manny around the ring if he can deal with his speed, and i dont think Manny's power will translate up to 147 pounds against a elite welterweight.... DelaHoya said while he couldnt see the punches... they werent truly hurting him..... if Cotto can deal with his speed, i think the PAc-Man Cotto fight will be much like Cotto's fight against Zab Judah who is also uber-quick and likes to mix it up much like Pac-Man but leaves himself open to counter-punching.... also the longer this fight Cotto the more Cotto's size will matter at 147, Cotto can be a dominant body puncher.... i am not certain this is the best fight for Pacquaio.... but styles make fights and i guess we will see in November....

Tough to pick against Manny at this point, he is doing some amazing things, but how big is to big? Remember he started his career off at 107! thats insane

This fight against Cotto will be at 147, just a year and half ago Manny was still fighting 130, Cotto has been in there with guys like Mosley and Margarito, his only loss was to Margarito and he put Cotto down in 11 and that was more than likely with loaded gloves, but Cotto looked great in the first half of the fight

Cotto is a great fighter, only thing that concerns me about him was he looked slower and less explosive in his last fight with Clottley which I thought he lost by the way

Its a tough fight to pick, I havent made a decision yet, maybe Mannys team is taking this fight because Cotto looked slower in his last fight and they think they can exploit that, but Cotto has heart and can take a hit, he basically fought Clottley with 1 eye for the entire, but it seems like the Margartio beating has took a little out of him
