Rypien got only a 6 game suspension for his little fan incident the other day.

Can't really say that is a bad thing. Most were saying 5-8 games anyway. The brawl they had in Boston where players jumped the glass and went into the stands and actually beat up fans, the max games someone got was 8.

So in two days no one will even talk about this anymore. Another 4th liner gets a suspension. Call me when Ovey gets his yearly suspension for hitting someone the wrong way.

I'm liking what I've seen so far this season. A++ performance tonight despite Howard's not so great one. He's now got 20 straight W's in regulation (I believe that's what it is).

Got shelled 6-0 against Buffalo. Kovalchuk was a healthy scratch and no one is saying why. Oh yah Brodeur was also sat and didn't start the game. He was brought in though after the 4th or 5th goal.

The shit storm in Toronto has already started. After starting 4-0 they just lost 3 straight and mass hysteria is on its way.

I've thought to myself that the refs have been pretty bad to start the year but seriously how was this a goal:

Even though it was a goal for the leafs I thought for sure it was going to be over turned, hell even the leaf broadcasters said it was goalie interference.

That fucking horrible. I see players get pushed into the goalie and get called for interference all the time and that's a no call?

Pens just need to roll with the hot goalie right now. Johnson has allowed 7 goals in 5 games. He one goaled the Flyers and Devils, lost a shutout in OT, and gave up two to Ottawa and New York. Just put him in against a decent team, see how he does. H hasn't lost all season in regulation, and at this point, I'd rather see him then Fluery.

Exactly my thoughts. Johnson has been stellar so far this season, so when I see Fluery starting in goal, my expectations for a win have lowered quite considerably.

Hopefully this is just MAF getting his awful play out of his system early in the season so he'd be ready to go when it matters the most. One can only hope, lol.
