Apparantly wilson was pretty livid with the refs after the game as there was a ton of missed calls. A couple replays of when the leafs were on the PP showed a ton of missed calls. It was kind of funny too during a sequence on HNIC it showed the "defensive play" of plekanic with 2 out of the 3 plays showing a blatant missed slashing call and cross check.
The high sticking call on mitchell at the end of the game was basically the wrong call and when the same thing happened to a montreal player 2mins later a call wasn't made.
It'll be interesting to see what comes out of this. There were a ton of older refs who retired last year and this is the first year for a lot of the new refs. Just recently the NHL had their first international ref (a guy from sweden I believe) ref a game. With guys like Mccreary (set to be gone at the end of the year), Koharski and Frasor gone now a lot of these guys are having to ref a lot more games and are obviously missing things.
On the flip side to the game PK probably got a couple good scares. Orr was put on for a few shifts when PK was on and I seen him take a few runs at PK so lol.

Actually mini, if you watched more then just habs games, you would know this is a league wide issue as a lot of people are having issues with the calling this year. Refs are young and older refs are retiring so these JUnior A refs are getting use to NHL action, and its causing a shit load of problems.All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.
