Some snaps I took from last night's game, I need to get more of these seats. Lady beside me said the seats are usually empty, so if they are just going to waste I'm gonna tell the wife to get me as many as she can.

20th row blue line, with a pisser and bar just outside, and the seats are literally the first ones inside the gate. Beauty.

Quick thing about the devils.

They've changed a lot since I last watched them. They're back to play their old style game which if your team isn't willing to battle for the puck or doesn't have the speed to get through their neutral zone trap its going to be a long night. They are boring as all hell to watch and their PP still sucks but they are on one hell of a tear right now so teams need to watch out.

If it wasn't for Reimer TO should of lost 3 or 4 to 1.

The leafs: Beauchemins replacement Aullie is a beast. Burke has said the Phaneuf deal would of never been done if Aullie wasn't in it and I can see why. The flames simply got fleeced hard on that deal. Lupul looked allright but you can tell he needs to adjust. Went offside a couple times and is trying to learn his line mates tendancys.

Lupul had a sure goal last night, a tough pass to handle, but he should have buried that one.

Lupul is incredibly streaky and floats around the ice too much for my liking...or at least he did a few years ago when he was on the Flyers.

I loved all the stiffs he played in the 3rd period.
And while I understand Giguere has done well against Montreal, I say Toronto should ride Reimer for the rest of the season.
Giguere is not the future, Reimer might be.
Burke can't be so delusional that he actually believes this team might make the playoffs.
As for Wilson, I don't get what he was doing in the third period either. After the second penalty, that stiff would never have seen the ice ... but Wilson kept putting him out there.
Leafs should offer Ken Holland $5 million a year to fix this mess - Burke clearly isn't the guy to do it. The Kessel trade set the rebuild back five years and Burke sticks to these antiquated notions that half your team has to be goon-like.
In today's NHL, that dinosaur attitude no longer applies.
And it looks pretty bad when Luke Schenn looks more engaged in the game than the guy you're paying $6.5M to ... and gave the C to.
