Complete bullshit continues. There's been maybe 1 or 2 hits which I've agree'd on a suspension for so far. The rest have been the NHL getting closer and closer to the no hit league.

You better hope your goalie plays as well as he is getting paid. If you were smart you could have got a just as good goalie for 5million cheaper, saved yourself two franchise players and another decent guy.

So tonights games are

Toronto vs Montreal - Makes sense, biggest rivals in hockey, always a good opening day game.

Philly vs Boston - Good rivals as well, another good meaningful opening game.

and

Pittsburgh at Vancouver - the fuck? I get they only play each other once, but this just seems more like a CBC trying to grab ratings at 10pm since this is the most odd opening day game ever.
