God the Hawks goaltending situation gives me headache. Niemi is doing in a fine job going into the Olympics, he basically won the #1 Spot away from Huet. Come back form the Olympic break and Niemi gives up 3 goals to the Islanders and Q pulls him brings in Huet who gives up 2 soft goals. Then goes with Huet in back to back to back games. Huet looked shaky in the first two allowing more soft goals, and then he gets fuckin shelled in the 2nd period of the Wings game.

At this point the Hawks have to score 4+ every night just to have a chance to win.

Isn't he pretty much responsible for making Edmonton the least talented group from top to bottom in the NHL and minors?

I just think since Messier is already sitting in the Garden in some faux advisory role to appease the fans, it's natural that Messier is next in line.
