Add Z in there and you got a top 5 line easy.
Yea, Dats and Zetterberg make their linesman that much better.

As far as the argument goes..its Top 3, not top 2. The Vancouver line is very solid if you are just lining up the Sedin sisters, but when you add in Burrows it doesnt match up with the quality of the Sharks top 3.

        The hell?

You're trying to argue a guy who will never break 70pts in a season, is better than a player who's posted 50G seasons and back to back 100pts seasons...and is still in his prime?

Where the fuck did Rush find these half wits? I was excited to talk hockey but wtf is this garbage.

I would take 2 Alex Burrows and trade for Dany Heatley.

          Toews/Kane line is #1 however.

            Hart Winner? Yup.

            Art Ross Winner? Yup.

Da fuck outta here with that nonsense. Burrows is a 60pt player playing on the heels of two top players. Shark line is 3 star players.

            Fuckin nonsense.
I'm talking abotu this past season.

Either you are high, or you are overrating Alex Burrows like a motherfucker.

              Heatley's last two years:

              08-09 39 Goals 33 Assists = 72 Points
              09-10 39 Goals 43 Assists = 82 Points

              Burrows last two years:
              08-09 23 Goals 23 Assists = 51 Points
              09-10 35 Goals 32 Assists = 67 Points

In fact in the last decade (not including 03-04), Heatley has never dipped under Burrows career high in points...the lowest he has gone in that time? 67 points, which is Burrows now career high.

If you are talking about careers then no line has anything on the Sharks line, but I'm talking about this most recent year since the article was just made.

The lines were nearly equal in production this last year.

Nucks line had 10 more pts and they had the same goals.

I mean the Sedins are 80pt players and Henrik had a great season, but was it fluke or not?

The Shark trio are consistently top players.

So sure, the Nucks line was the best line during the 09/10 season, but from an overall talent perspective (which is what the list is about, as I said, read the article) the Sharks line is far superior as they've proven to be better players.

Hell if we are talking about this years lines.....let me tell you about this line that had Kane and Toews on it that may or may not have won a Stanley Cup...

Every slide has the lines ppg total from last year at the bottom of it which makes me think it is based off last season and not careers.

                          From the Sharks slide:

This isn’t based on playoff success or anything else. It’s based, simply, on what line functions the best as a unit and these three are most certainly it.
If that is the case, then wouldn't the Canucks or Capitals top lines be the best in the league? If you are talking about how well the line function, either of the other Top 3 lines should have been at the top especially with two of the better players on the lines missing some time(Ovie - 10 games, D. Sedin - 20 games)

I think it is based on last season only based on this statement.

The fact that this line is this far down on the list is a testament to how difficult Detroit’s season was last year.
