How the hell did Brunette - Koivu - Miettinen make this?
Just check out Brunette's and Koivu stats. Brunette was a sleeper pick by me in a fanatasy league I was in last year with 13 other friends. His 25 goals were fairly helpful.
Watch the playoffs before you attempt to pull shit out of your ass.
Thornton was our 2nd best forward in the playoffs (behind Pavelski), he was skating hard, throwing his body around, we saw a different Thornton in the playoffs. He was absolutely unstoppable in the Detroit series (GWG in game 2), GW assist to Marleau in Game 3, tied up the game and also got the GW assist in Game 4).
Heatley played with a torn groin, he wasnt skating and he couldnt get open whenever Thornton had the puck. But he did put up 13 points, and he showed some heart, that's all you can ask for. Heatley has 12 G, 36 A, 48 points in 48 playoff games... That's far from choking.
I agree with Drake about Marleau. He was invisible in the Colorado series, he wasnt moving his feet and couldnt hit the net for shit. Marleau showed up in the Detroit and Chicago series'. He scored the GWG in Game's 3 and 5 and scored 5 goals in 4 games in the Chicago series. And yet you call him a choker...
...Stick to the Leafs and actually watch a playoff game next year if you're going to bash the Sharks. And I'm not going to bother responding to this dumbass Bruins fan who thinks Burrows is better than Heatley. At least talk when Burrows has two 50 goal seasons.
Wouldn't that make Burrows better than Heatley? Burrows already has a very good defensive game and then if he was able to put up back to back 50 goals he would be on or close to Heatley's level offensively, and then when you factor in his defensive game it makes Burrows a lot better than Heatley. People have to remember that it not all about scoring goals in the NHL.

Yeah but that's lunacy to suggest Alex fuckin Burrows would be a 50 goal scorer...twice.
Lets also not forget that Heatley has more career assists than goals, yeah he's not quite as one dimensional offensively.
So when Burrows starts notchin 90+ point seasons, call me, until then this argument is moronic IMO.
