I thought a couple of the endings sucked, but Summerslam was solid overall.

There was 5 matches. 4 of them had weak ass endings.

Dolph/Kofi was okay, iffy ending but I didn't mind... kinda weird for a PPV though.

      Melina/Alicia... c'mon it's women's wrestling. Bad ending though.

Orton/Sheamus- DQ ending at one of the biggest PPVs of the year.

      Kane/Rey solid all-around

Nexus vs. WWE- good match stupid pointless booking ending.

        Danielson spits on Cena

Had he been allowed to get away with the tie choke (which "officially" should be called a work from now on), dude would have kicked Cena's head in at SummerSlam.

...but if the "E's" writers were smart, they could just have said that Danielson was pissed off that none of his buddies came to his defense or had tried to force Vince to rehire him the day after the tie-choke incident.

        Heel work

There's nothing to say that Danielson still wouldn't have the same views as his Nexus counterparts aside from his selfish need to work on an official PPV instead of just plugging along on indie dates.

Too much fantasy booking involved in this to think that "Daniel Bryan" returning should have been infinitely better.
Why would something that clearly was not a work be "officially" a work? This shit wasnt a storyline.. Bryan was unfortunately fired due to circumstance and once it blew over he was brought back, and probably in an even better spot then when he left.

What? It wasn't pointless. John Cena reminded us he is super man, in case anyone had forgotten.

Honestly, I didn't find it terrible, just predictable and a wasted chance to really put over the Nexus group. Just would've at least liked to see the rest of Team WWE come out and celebrate, instead of letting Cena do it by himself...

That isn't really being fired though...that is being suspended, seemingly without pay. This was a pretty terrible "shoot" by the WWE though, considering everyone and their mothers knew that Bryan was coming back and exactly how he was coming back (I made the call the week Danielson was given the boot how he'd come back...it wasn't something that people didn't know about)...so, trying to legitimize his "firing" is a pretty feeble attempt, much like it was for the WWE to "fire him" to placate some suit.

As for Nexus, just break them up now...dissension starting amongst the group, they got squashed by Super Cena and Bryan Danielson, and now Super Cena roasts them for 15 minutes on RAW.

Wrap this one up, call it a day.

              RIP Nexus.

Lol @ how poorly the WWE is handling the Nexus shit. Having Gabriel and Barrett go over Cena last night would've done a lot to elevate the whole group.

Yeah, exactly. It was a great chance to really make a splash, do something different. They didn't need Cena to get anymore push, he's already established. It was just really worthless...

This is WWE booking at its finest...moronic. Not as bad as TNA of course, but dumb nonetheless.

Nexus is a group of wolves...as a group, devastating. Singularly...not so much, so, they roll in a pack.

                      So, what do they do?

Have Super Cena and Danielson squash'em as a group...have Cena completely bury them in a promo the next night...but, then have Nexus win matches 1-on-1 to generate some lost heat on them.

da fuck am I missing here about this making sense?

He's right though... you can't expect to wrestle for Uncle Vince and not eat meat.

                        Vegan...

Which doesn't make sense because Cole looks like the kind of guy that could wolf down a 9 inch keibasa or two in one sitting... and yet he hasn't had an official match either.

And that should just about do it for Darren Young's career.

It was over when he claimed the nickname, "The Black Cena."
