    BJ Penn is fucking done..

Never seen such a great fighter look so bloody uninspired or so disinterested in such a quick period of time. We all knew BJ had issues with consistency in his training, but the guy has looked defeated before the bell even rang in both of these fights against Frankie. I think hes done for, IMO. His fire looks gone. I hope he can regain his form but he just looks completely uninterested in there. The plain look on his face before the fight told a story.. a story of a man who just dont care.

    What fire?
He's always been the most disinterested AAA fighter in MMA.
I said he was overrated but he went on a tear at 155.
He actually did seem focused but his piss poor training methods have caught up to him.The fact he's been this dominant on natural talent alone speaks volumes.
Guy needs to dump the yes men gtfo out of Hawaii and start training with some hungry guys who will constantly strain his skills not stroke his laziness.
How he comes out and executes the same piss poor gameplan from the first fight and made NO adjustment is beyond me.

Credit to Edgar. His ridiculous pace and speed made BJ look outclassed.
Best reason to have a license.

He needs to go back to AKA or soemthing like that, like KOF said, to many yes man, he just works out with his crew , he is hit or miss on motivation for fights, but like in every fight, styles make fights and Frankie is just an awful match up for him it seems

He still beats 95% of the division, hell, Florian was 1 win away from a title shot, still some good fights for BJ at LW, would like to see Penn vs Gomi II

The UFC LW division isnt even stacked, BJ will be fine

I always thought he was overated as well, and I said that when he was winning. He doesnt even pretend not to be lazy, he's the kind of athlete who will age quickly and badly.

I agree with rob that Edgar just seems to be a bad matchup, everyone runs into that at some point. He's a tippy to guy at that weight but i've always been in the minority and never saw him as a top p4p guy.
