Both fights could go either way..Hughes has handled gracie , and bj Penn so Serras jiu jitsu shouldnt be a big deal for him. On the other hand Serras heavy hands could decide the fight.

Evans by KO in 3rd or Machida by 5 round decision seem like safe bets.
    Hopefully wont be a snoozefest.
I think Evans beats Lyoto, I hope Rashad actually decides to shoot and go for some takedowns to mix it up, but he could win a stand up battle also, I think Rashad takes it, but wouldnt be surprised if Machida wins, I just hope like you that it isnt a 5 round snoozer

Huges will beatdown Serra, I dont see Serra beind able to stop Matts takedowns and Hughes has to good of a ground game to get subbed from the top

Sounds dumb since hes undefeated and beat up some great fighters...but Rashads only unique assets are his speed/power combination for this weight class. Noone can match his hand speed and he hits like a ton of bricks. If Tito ((who protects his chin at all costs)) can keep Rashads hands at bay I think Machida can too. I dont see him rushing in there or trying to get into a haymaker battle the way Chuck and Forrest did.

If Machida gets sloppy or has Dana or the crowd booing him and decides to exchange he may come out on the short end of it.

Either way 2 guys that always find a way to win. First battle of undefeated I can recall for title. Please dont make us sleepy.
Best reason to have a license.

Rashad is also technically sound on his feet and on the ground, even for all his shucking and jiving, he doesnt get hit solid and throws some good combos, plus I dont think he has been close to getting subbed when he has top control

I knew he would be a beast at 205 when he dropped, he is a great athlete and really developed his striking, but he is also going away from the wrestling to much which could be his downfall in the future, hate when guys give up there bread and butter for new found tools

Matt Serra could be a top contender in another org, would be a nice addition to the strikeforce 170 class where they are very thin

Serra vs Jake Shields would be nice

Also a Baroni/Serra would be epic, the battle of New York

Headliner pick may be a bit homerish (he's been one of my favorites since he was on TUF...though my other TUF favorite, Sanchez has more or less fallen off the map since that controversial Koscheck loss), but here are my picks on the top 2 bouts:

                        Rashad over Machida
                        Hughes over Serra

Machida's got this shit. BTW Fedor is fighting Barnett.
