I am so tired of listening to it. Being this close to Edmonton, it is all you hear about, and of course TSN is running it non stop. I get it was big, but I just laugh when they say it still affects the game today. Two lockouts, different areas of hockey, salary cap...yeah, it doesn't. That is just stretching.

It was just a precursor of what was to come, except instead of pleading poverty to get a new stadium, dirt bag Pocklington pled poverty in order to trade his best player for $0.03 on the dollar so he could keep his corrupt business ventures afloat

Leaf, what can I expect from Grabovski? He's going in as the Caps second line center I've heard that, between him and Ribeiro, Ribeiro is better offensively, but Grabovski is a much better two-way player, but that's it.

I say it depends on a lot of the supporting cast he has. He has great speed, which is good for Washington style hockey, but will need a hand in getting the puck. Not sure how he will play with guys like Laich or Erat.

So what is the Hyrid icing rule?

Basically when the puck is shot down the ice, if the defencemen reaches the faceoff dot in their end first, the whistle is blown for icing. If the offensive player reaches it first, then the play is like like a normal play.

It was put in to stop the dmen from getting drilled into the boards on icing ... now it is just the forwards on the other team that will get drilled.
