Colorado looked pretty dam good last night although they played against a leaf team that had 5 regulars out and had colton orr playing on the 3rd line with almost 10mins played.

I think I missed your post back in Sept when you asked about Grabo. Pretty much what he's doing now is what you'll expect and the reason why I was so against giving him a 5.5mil a year contract when he was with the leafs. He'll have some games where you wonder why he's not getting 8mil a year and then he'll do his normal 5 game stretch like he's done lately where he will have 2pts and when playing against bigger centerman basically no show.

Its tough because the guy has a solid want and need to play. He plays like a North American he's just too small and way to shot happy. In his first game all I heard was laughing from people because of the look who the leafs just gave away after his hat trick first game but he's settled into the old grabo I know and it will become more and more annoying over time.

From what I can tell Oiler fans are jumping on the team hard. This bad start after pumping up the team all summer really has hurt that fan base.

Yup, just another example of a guy turning his back and getting killed. If he skates towards the back of the net it is a shoulder on shoulder hit. The slow mode makes it even worse, as it looks as if he is about to go scoop the puck up and head around with it, but decides to slap on the breaks and turn.

100% Kronwalls fault. But it looks like he thought McLeod was just going to meet him a few more feet up the boards. He knew a hit was coming so instead of absorbing it he tried to avoid it with the stop and turn and got plastered.
