    International Champions Cup Schedule Revealed

This summer’s International Champions Cup will feature classic match-ups including Everton against Juventus in San Francisco, Chelsea against Inter Milan in Indianapolis, Real Madrid versus LA Galaxy in Phoenix and many more matches in six US cities and one game in Europe.

As part of the bracketed tournament, AC Milan and Valencia are also participating in addition to the teams mentioned above. Plus, all eight teams will play in Miami on August 6-7 in the consolation and championship games.

Here’s the preliminary schedule, which was leaked by Grant Wahl of Sports Illustrated.

FOX Soccer will be televising 11 of the 12 games live with presumably the July 27 match in Spain the one game that FOX won’t televise.

Personally, I’m extremely excited at the rare chance of seeing all eight of these teams playing in my neighborhood (Miami). It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see many of the best teams in the world warming up for the new season. Plus, the fact that so many European teams are coming over to the United States is an excellent indication of the growth of the game in the States, the investment by Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and the potential economic windfall that clubs can receive by expanding their brand in the United States.

The complete schedule will be unveiled tomorrow at a press conference in Miami. EPL Talk will be there to cover the news so we can report back the full schedule as well as getting all of the other details.
