This guy is supposedly the real deal. Some Brazilian Corinthians/Cheslea fan raved about him during this past season on a Chelsea podcast I listen to, was hoping we'd go after him. £17m probably seems like a lot for Spuds fans, but it's a fine number.

A MF with him and Sandro will certainly be solid. Hopefully Sandro can come back from his injury alright.

So I guess Paulinho hasn't agreed to a contract yet, and has an offer from Milan as well. Said he wasn't going to decide til after the confed. cup. Rumor is Chelsea might swoop in for him.

I would have been very happy if we got him before, if we could steal him out from under Spurs that would be just fantastic.
