Are they not doing individual shows this year? Is it just one big "WrestleCon" event with matches being booked while they sell SHIRTZ, DVDZ, and have carney autograph signings in one big "convention" style event?
If so...fuckin lame.
Nothing was better than mapping out your Indy wrestling weekend, trekking to each spot, and watching some great fucking shows.
Had the best times I've had in wrestling since I was going to ECW shows when I hit up WrestleMania Weekend down here, Orlando, and in Jersey.
If they fucked with that format...I'mma be...

WrestleCon has that one "Supershow" mentioned above on Saturday. The rest of WrestleCon is concerts (Micky James), Q&A's (Goldberg, Dudley's I think), live podcasts (Cabana, Corino), autographs, $5 Wrestling, some Mart Derosa comedy gimmick, and some other shit.
There is a Mid South reunion convention with a contemporary wrestling show that has only one match announced so far (Lance Hoyt vs Chris Masters).
ROH has Supercard of Honor on Friday, and a show Saturday.Comment

WrestleCon is just three days of shit, plus one "Supershow", but aside from that Steen/Tanaka match, the names aren't that great at all.
I might go to ROH Friday, wwnlive Sat & Sun. I'll wait & see on the Mid South card. I like the main event because I like Hoyt & Masters. But I need more. If the "Supershow" is better than DGUSA, i'll go to that. Too early to tell. Might skip Sunday, that's a lot of driving.Comment

I've explained this 1,000 times, geek. I got called away for a work trip, and watched everything that weekend via sketchy hotel wifi. My feed dropped just as Okada hit the fucking Rainmaker.
I can drive to New Orleans. If nothing is happening at work and I can be sneaky, i'll grab a room to cut down on the miles and go all three days.Comment

So Meltzer mentioned in passing that a nervous gabe called him and was talking about how the WWE Network changes the game for him. I guess from the perspective of charging $9.99 per show, when WWE gives you not only an iPPV, but a boatload of other content as well for the same price.
Clearly wwnlive has to change the business model.
And to think they nearly beat WWE to the punch with the Roku channel that they've been promising for like two years.Comment

Evolve 25 was great. Five matches, all five were great. 2 hours & 20 minutes, in and out.Comment
