I wasn't able to attend the RCW event on Friday that landed Brandon Oliver in the hospital but here are the updates from my friend Keith that works with the promotion-

Hey Bill, show was the best Sideliners show I have worked, don't know the final attendance count but was at least 250 that I counted myself, but more came in after we started. We are not a 100% sure when but Brandon took a bump from Officer Rob Love where he felt a pain in his ribs but at another point he was thrown out of the ring and landed pretty hard. His 9th rib on his right side broke and punctured his lung. Love and Oshun beat Brandon and Jingo in the fan strap lumberjack match when Love rolled up Brandon pulling his tights while Jingo and Oshun battled on the outside.

Faith beat Guervara (RCW title match) by DQ when Valenz, Rob Love and Ravishing Ryan Oshun rain in. Super-Mex (Hernandez) came out and with Sammy and Faith cleared the ring.

The 3 way for the Angels belt with Paige Turner, Sopressa and Alyssa Flash became a 6 man tag when Spector came out with Erik Ortiz and Sammy Haddard. Oh Valenz came out as Ann Dromeda (that was Sopressa) because he said it was only way to get title shot. Spector's group won when he rolled up Valenz. Afterward Valenz shot a promo and Commissioner SiFuentes said he was tired of Valenz whining and that he already had his rematch for the RCW championship, Valenz then attacked SiFuentes.

Next show Masada returns and faces Faith for the RCW Belt, also the Submission Squad makes their debut in RCW on Feb 21st at Sideliners.

        YOUNG BUCK MATT JACKSON INJURED
by Mike Johnson @ 3:44 PM on 2/11/2014

Matt Jackson of The Young Buck broke his hand and two fingers during the Bucks' final match on the New Japan Pro Wrestling tour today.

X-Rays confirmed the injury and Jackson will likely require surgery, but is traveling home to the United States first as if he had the surgery in Japan, he'd be stuck there until they cleared him to fly. So, he's in for a really, really crappy travel home.

Our best to him for a speedy recovery.

So, I can't find a good pic of this Paige Turner broad. She look good? The pics I see aren't flattering at all...but I will have to defer to my Texas Indy friendz to be the judge.

ACH made Sammy G in Austin tonight.

Robert Evans being a regular for Inspire moving forward makes me fist pump. Love it.

Ray Rowe is the indie MVP of 2014 right now.

Ricky Starks had his most complete performance tonight. His mannerisms and "little things" are so far beyond guys at his level that he laps the field. You have to see this guy sell and convey emotion. It'd be top level stuff in WWE. He's that good in that regard. In many ways he's a much better WWE prospect than a lot of big name indie guys because his strengthens are exactly what they look for. He isn't tall but if he hits the gym and adds 20 pounds of bulk he can get by at 5'10" or whatever he is (he's only a hair shorter than me, i'm 6'0"). And adding weight won't hurt him because he's not a big spot guy, he's a psychology guy.

Poor Mike Dell had to follow ACH saying goodbye to Texas and tearing the house down. Crowd was exhausted and DEAD.

Sammy is definitely a rising star. He had a title shot in RCW last week and his ladders match with Matthew Palmer in January was probably the best one I have seen on the local circuit to date.

Starting at 1:47:00, you have Watanabe vs Gregory James (best excursion match for Watanabe to date, and i've seen 4 or 5 of them. Only time the backdrop driver has made film to my knowledge), Andy Dalton vs Ricky Starks (the pacing here is so advanced, two guys I am really, really high on), and the much hyped Chris Hero vs Ray Rowe indie match of the year candidate.

I'd hype those three matches even if Biss was an asshole.

                              The defense rests.

With Jimmy Saito & CIMA off the DGUSA shows this weekend due to injury, that means there are now exactly ZERO Dragon Gate regulars on the shows, including Americans.

Buyer beware, you are getting EVOLVE.
