          This exchange:

EAMON: What sort of things did you see?

RED SCARE: In war, there are things that happen that can make a man unrecognizable in every possible way.

EAMON: So, you were in a war. Which war was that exactly?

RED SCARE: You look like you can spare a nickel. Why don’t you run down to the corner and grab the Daily. It’s all there in black and white.

          EAMON: A nickel?

RED SCARE: Five pennies, you crumb.

EAMON: Maybe if we were in 1942.

RED SCARE: What’s your damn point?

EAMON: Uh— No point, I guess. Look, let’s just get on with the questions, if that’s alright with you.

RED SCARE: I’m not in this slop-hole to play bridge, and you’re not exactly what I’d call a hot date. So, yes, let’s get on with it.

Even funnier if you've met Eamon because you'd know how timid he can come off.

This is high level creative stuff. Reminds me of Chikara before Quack sputtered out of ideas (or comics to rip off) and made everybody an Ant or Eastern European comedy gimmick.

*AR Fox & Uhaa Nation vs. Anthony Nese & Trent Baretta
              *Chuck Taylor vs. Drew Gulak
              *Johnny Gargano vs. Biff Busick
              *Rich Swann vs. Caleb Konley

*The Colony (Fire Ant & Green Ant) vs. Jigsaw & Tim Donst
PLUS: SHINE Champion Ivelisse Velez, Su Yung, Mr. A, Moose, Blake Edward Belakus and more

EVOLVE 30 will be on May 10th in Brooklyn at the Lyceum, and announced for that is Rich Swann vs. Johnny Gargano in an I Quit Match. The full card will be announced on Wednesday.
              ---------------------------------------------------------

Does this do anything for you? No Hero or Ricochet?

Love the Uhaa/Fox vs Nese/Baretta match, and Swann/Konley could be sneaky good. Good to see Monster Mafia in the mix.

Jigsaw doesn't get booked enough. The Bravado's gimmick must be that they never defend the titles.

Somewhat shady. Extreme Rising has cancelled three shows (two of which were set for this weekend), deleted their social media accounts and are telling folks who had tickets to contact their credit card company/bank or the store they purchased from for refunds (this via a message given to PWI).

I didn't see the Extreme Rising cards, but I assume Starks & Bolt, with Starks being the big deal?

This would be the second time ER cancelled those guys. Sucks.

ROH & NJPW Present: WAR OF THE WORLDS
                          Saturday, May 17th, 2014 – 7:30PM
The Hammerstein Ballroom – New York City

                          ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Winner of Adam Cole vs. Kevin Steen from GLOBAL WARS (ROH) vs. Jushin “Thunder” Liger (NJPW)

It will certainly be a historic contest as ROH’s top wrestler defends his World Championship against the legendary Jushin Liger. Will Liger change the international landscape of professional wrestling by becoming the ROH World Champion? Or will Adam Cole/Kevin Steen walk out of New York with the gold and add this huge win to their list of accomplishments?

                          IWGP HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada vs. "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin (ROH)
**5/3 in Fukuoka, Japan Kazuchika Okada defends the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against AJ Styles. The winner of that match will defend against Michael Elgin on May 17th

Elgin earned his IWGP Heavyweight Championship opportunity by defeated Kevin Steen at Supercard of Honor 8. With Elgin obsessed on winning World Championships, will his New Japan dream finally come true? Or can Okada defend his gold on American soil?

                          ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Champions: The Young Bucks (Bullet Club) vs. reDRagon (ROH)

The Young Bucks shocked fans by capturing the ROH World Tag Championships from reDRagon a few months ago. reDRagon has already earned their championship rematch and looks for redemption against the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team and ROH World Tag Team Champion Young Bucks. reDRagon has been ruthless in the ring since losing the gold. Will they get back the championships that they held for the better part of last year? Or will The Young Bucks prove that what happened a few months back was not an upset or fluke?

                          IWGP WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Champions: Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows (Bullet Club) vs. Jay & Mark Briscoe (ROH)

The Briscoes are 8 time ROH World Tag Team Champions. Can they add the IWGP World Tag Team Titles to their list of accomplishments? Or will the big man tag team of Anderson and Gallows retain?

                          ROH WORLD TV CHAMPIONSHIP
Champion: Jay Lethal w/ Truth Martini (ROH) vs. KUSHIDA (NJPW)

Shinsuke Nakamura (NJPW) vs. Kevin Steen or Adam Cole (ROH)

Hiroshi Tanahashi (NJPW) vs. Michael Bennett w/ Maria Kanellis (ROH)

                          Also Signed to Appear

                          Gedo & Jado (NJPW)
The Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero & Alex Koslov) (NJPW)
                          Takaaki Watanabe (NJPW)
The Decade (Roderick Strong, BJ Whitmer & Jimmy Jacobs) w/ Adam Page (ROH)
                          ACH (ROH)
                          Matt Taven (ROH)
                          Cedric Alexander (ROH)
                          Tommaso Ciampa (ROH)
                          Silas Young (ROH)

                              Tanahashi/Bennett is a big letdown.

I'm assuming Styles beats Okada and they do Styles/Elgin. Not sure where that leaves Okada.

Exactly, Styles is probably beating Okada in Japan. So Okada will end up in a tag match or something.

You get your hands on Okada, arguably the best guy in the world right now, and you book him in two throwaway tag matches.

                                Awful.
