Had to think about this for a bit... but I'm going with the Lakers in 6, I think the Finals experience that they have will give them a huge advantage compared to what Orlando has, which is only from Turkoglu I believe.

Oh yeah... just thought I'd point this out (or toot my horn, whichever way you look at it), but for those that actually remember the preseason predictions thread back at MM... I picked Orlando to come out of the East... just like with picking Villanova to go to the Final Four, I'm right again!

I agree with JVG when he said neither the Cavs or Magic are as good as the Celtics were last year. And even if the Lakers somehow aren't improved from last year, they aren't worse.

Did you read the Bynum quote saying they remember those losses and want another shot? I read that after i posted.

Pride is a Mfer, Kobe knows this is his shot and hes goign to make sure his team knows not to take ORL lightly.

I think Odom is going to be playing a lot more minutes sinces hes faster for D and throw in Walton who can D it up on everyone on that team except Howard and Alston.

Only thing that looks like a problem is OBV Howard. Howw is Bynum going to play this series? Big Z is a liablity outside the lane and Varajo has no offense. ALl the Lakers big men have offense and except for Bynum have good lateral movement.

The Magic aren't playing against a soft/short backcourt this time and this backcourt isn't filled with one-trick pony players. I also wonder how Dwight will handle Gasol, who will be the first legitimate threat in the post on offense he's faced this offseason. This Lakers' team is legit, although they can be questioned at times during the postseason.

The question is this for the Magic: can they shut down the supporting cast of the Lakers like they did the Cavs? I don't think they can because the supporting cast isn't one-dimensional like the Cavs. Sure, the Magic went 2-0 in the regular season, but that means nothing now.

Gasol isnt gurading Lewis. Lewis isnt a typical PF. Ariza is going to be on him not gasol. Kobe is guarding lee ill give you that then odom or walton gurads turk. I could Brown getting a lot of minutes, i think he can guard Alston.
