President's (NHL Leading Team): Rangers/Blues/Vancouver
To little to late for anyone to catch the Rangers in the East, unless the Penguins with Crosby back sweep the rest of the season. But I am putting the Blues on top of the West and the best shot to challenge the Rangers.
Hart (MVP): Malkin/Lunqvist/Stamkos
Malkin easily takes this down, unless he nose dives. No one has meant more to his team this year. Lundqvist is a close second, but it is the whole giving it to a goalie thing. If the Lightning make the playoffs, I think you have to include Stamkos and what he is doing. But there is a list of like 10 guys you could throw in that final spot.
Art Ross (Points Leader): Malkin/Stamkos/Giroux
With crosby coming back, Malkin's points should go up quicker when they hit the PP. Stamkos will keep in pace, and I think Giroux will come in a close third.
Rocket Richard (Goals Leader): Stamkos
Malkin is not scoring 10 goals to catch him. So unless Stamkos doesn't score again this season, this is a lock.
Vezina (Goalie): Lundqvist/Quick/*Elliott/Halak
The King is in the top five of every major goalie category, leading two, second in another and I can't see him being denied the Vezina. Quick is also good in stats, but not enough to come close to the King. I don't put Rinne in this this year, as I said in the post before, I do believe the duo of Elliott/Halak deserve to be recognized for what they have done. Both have 6 shutouts, Elliott is 1st in GAA and Halak 3rd, and Elliott is 2nd in SV%. What they have done with St. Louis is just amazing, and they should be atleast given the honour of having their name on the ballot.
Norris (Defenceman): Chara/Weber/Lindstrom
Fairly standard group as see every year, and Lindstrom I am just adding for the fact they will probably rename the award after him in about 10 years.
Selke (Defensive forward): I have no clue on this one.
Calder (Rookie): Landeskog/Henrique/RNH
I just think they will give more love to what Landeskog is doing. It goes back to last year in the Coutour/Skinner thing, where Skinner was a true rookie, while Coutour had AHL and some NHL experience. I think Kog wins it out as long as he keeps in pace with points. RNH would have easily won this if he wasn't injured all season. Still LOL on people saying they should have past on him in the draft and got Larsson. You could not have passed on him. But sick move for the Avs to pass on Larsson and grab Kog.
Lady Byng (Sportsmanship & Skill): Eriksson/St. Louis
You have to throw St. Louis in here every year. It is like Lindstrom and the Norris.
GM Award: Armstron (Blues), Poile (NSH), Dallas/Florida
Jack Adams (Coach): Tortorella/Hitchcock/Maclean, P.
Hitchcock should win, but it is hard to argue with this group.
