Very exciting time to have meaningful games in DC right now. But the bandwagon goes up every day....it might be good for the Wizards in the end, like it was for the Capitals the first time they made the playoffs with Ovechkin. A lot of people stuck around and became fans and started following the sport.

A lot of people stuck around and became fans and started following the sport.

At first the bandwagon annoyed me because half of these people were heat fans last year. The more I think about it, the more I love the bandwagon growing though. More fans = more money = better reputation = better FAs :smug:

Perhaps the Wiz can lure a big name player in the near future considering they are about to have a ton of financial flexibility over the next 3 years with all of their contracts except Wall & Webster coming up. They can afford to give a max to Beal and still sign another max FA in 2016 oops

Same thing kind of happened to the Capitals, minus the big free agents (though they did spend plenty on Tier 2 players.) The interest is up for sure, and I hope they can continue it. Obviously some players producing now won't be around, so they will have to be replaced. Specifically at that time, that money should be spent on a post player I would think.

I'm OK with coming home at 1-1. Good hard play. Inexperience definitely showed last night but hopefully they learn from it and grow.

That was the worst game Washington has played and they were still in it at the end. I'm okay with that. Make the adjustment and make sure Hibbert can't have another career game.
