76ers Still Crying Foul Over Devin's Shot

The 76ers still haven't gotten over the game-winning heave that Nets point guard Devin Harris was credited with on Monday night.

Andre Iguodala hit one of two free throws to give Philadelphia a 96-95 lead, but Harris won the game for New Jersey with a half court heave that was reviewed by officials before it was confirmed.

"I thought a lot was going on for 1.8 seconds," said Iguodala. "I thought for sure it wasn't good, and I still don't think it was good."

"It was no good -- we all know that," said Andre Miller. "But you can't sit here and argue it, because of the consequences. It's over now.

"But still, the game was ours and it was pretty much taken from us."

Iguodala even feels as though Harris got away from traveling.

"That was another issue, too," said Iguodala. "There were so many things that went on in a small amount of time for that shot to be good."

You can see right from the beginning that the clock didn't start right when he touched the ball.

there is about 3 seconds before he shoots that ball... if you look he's able to get a dribble down before the clock starts up and then that play with iggy was just terrible..

I dont think it should of counted, but I give Devin Harris mad props for making a shot that hard.

Exactly. And thats why I have looked at this play over and over.

Now as you can see the ball has been touched and the clock has not started. In the 2nd picture you see devin has now taken a dribble and the clock has not started as stated above by BWEISS. In the 2 pictures below devin clearly got the shot off in time before the red light at the table came on. Tho he would have NOT gotten the shot off in the time if the clock had started right when he touched the ball off the inbound which it did not.

Here the ball is kind of blurry but you can see he has gotten the shot off with 0.1 Left on the clock. But like I said he would have NOT gotten the shot off in the time if the clock had started right when he touched the ball off the inbound which it did not.

He got the benefit of the home court time keeper. He was fouled, and it was an amazing shot too. He deserved it. IMO it was a good shot.

I don't care if it took him 15 seconds to get that shot off, if you hit a shot like that when the ball is knocked out of your hand and you're still able to recover it, it should just be an automatic bucket.

i dont knnow how the fuck you do all that in 1,8 second come on now lol i didnt even think you could lose the ball and recover and then shoot it, nevermind gettin all the way to halfcourt and doing that, great shot though
