Air it out or Ground & Pound

Which style of play do you roll with whenever you play? Do you take it to the air and throw 40+ times (New England) or Run the ball to weaken down the defense 30+ times a game (Pittsburgh)?

I tend to air it out more. If my run game is going early, I will try and rely on that. Usually that doesn't happen because my RB's always play like Cedric Benson like they have rocks in their cleats. I love to throw the ball, 4-5 WR sets.

I always mix it up. I feel like every time I go into a game saying "I'm gonna throw it all over the place" I end up playing a lot worse than if it just happened.

Force the defense to be wrong and pick plays that they can't defend against. That's my goal.

i love pounding the balls, bringing in the safetys then going over the top..but if the game is close i tend to run the ball alot more..

I take what the Defense Gives me....

However if whomever I play does a lot of user things I tend to run it more. If the person only controls the linmen I'll throw it more. But I think I'm about 60/40 when it comes to Pass and Run.

I don't play Madden, but on NCAA I just take what the defense gives me. If I see they are in a formation to stop the run, then I'll switch to play action. If I see they are in a formation to stop the pass, then I'll switch to a run or draw.

My style is kinda like the Colts and Peyton Manning. I'm always calling audibles and hot routes at the line.

no joke. I run 25 times a game mininum. I cant throw in this game. Plus the run game is so much fun. When you get 150 yards rushing you know you earned it.

i really prefer to throw it, but it so hard this year i just run it down peoples throats if i can keep the score close.

I take what the defense gives me as well. I only usually run about 8-10 plays so I use my audibles a lot. I throw more than pass but if the D runs a dime on 2 & 10, I'll pound the ball up the middle for 5-7 yards.

I run the ball about +25 times a game. I usually end up with about 150-200 rushing yards a game.

When I made this thread I hadnt started playing RZML games tho, but since then I have tried running the ball a lot more and it's became my primary way to get yards with Matt Forte. Each game Forte has had around 20 carries & 100 yards.

I'll usually air it out early until if fuck around and throw a pick....then the ball goes to Peyton Hillis the rest of the game.

I love running the ball. I'm not a very good passer unless I have the defense playing very aggressively to stop the run.

I will run the shit out of the ball until the defense forces me to pass. I will open up the game and run 10 straight times if I'm getting 3-4 yards a pop.

There's nothing better than frustrating the hell out of your opponent as you watch him try every defensive formation in his playbook as he desperately tries to somehow stop you from running right down his throat.

I usually use the run-balanced PB and I love most of the formations and run designs it contains.

I like running the ball more then passing because im better at it but i always find myself throwing. 60/40 pass/rush is probably me.

I love to establish the run early and get it going, it opens so much in my passing game. Screens becoming easier cause of run blitzing, going down the field obviously is much easier considering single coverage. Anyways, I probally run the ball probally 60/40.
