Andre The Giant

Andre was legit 6'9" or 6'10". The 7'4" stuff was pro wrestling carny exaggerations.

Big Show is legit 7'.

Both of them were in good shape in their 20's, maybe high 300's or so. Andre in particular could really move in his younger days with great agility. Andre was far heavier at his heaviest than Big Show. Andre was pushing 600 at his death. Big Show is probably not even 500, maybe a little heavier than 500 when he's out of shape.
 
In the 70's, Andre would stand on stacked phone books and other assorted props during interviews. If you look closely at some of the pictures during those days, he appears to be well over 8ft tall. Its actually pretty ridiculous.

Vince McMahon Sr blew a gasket one time because Wilt Chamberlain took a photo with Andre, and was clearly several inches taller. McMahon feared the picture would get into magazines and kill Andre's gimmick.

Jorge Gonzalez (Giant Gonzalez, El Gigante) was actually much taller than both of them. He was something like 7'6", based on basketball records. Standing next to other wrestlers, its obvious he towers over Andre.

Gonzalez was very thin and incredibly unathletic, even by 7ft standards. Plus he was an awful worker, who threw horrendous looking worked punches, and was the least menacing looking giant ever as a result.
 
Andre was probably like a legit 6'10"-ish.

He was under 400 pounds for most of his career.

Big Show is a legit 7'0"...maybe even pushing 7'1". I've stood next to Show and Chris Bosh at the same time and Show is taller than Bosh.

Show used to be much thinner until he got surgery and he put on weight because of it. He was athletic as hell for a guy his size when he first started.
 
The werstling guys around here already know this, but for those who may not Big Show had the same disease as Andre. They did not have a cure in Andre's day.
 
Big Show played basketball in school and like mentioned before, had the surgery to get rid of the glandular problem which led to his gigantism. After the surgery, he didn't metabolize food like he use to which led to his gaining weight.

Nowadays, he may be 6'11 since they build him at 7 foot on the dot.
