I remember when Mitch Williams was on the 1986 Texas Rangers. Even though pithcers like Bobby Witt and Mike Mason were marginal and gave up 10 runs per game, the Rangers were able to squeak out 87 wins due to the hitting of Pete O'Brien and Don Slaught.
