He'll move this Summer. He almost went to Celtic before the deadline but the chairman stood firm on wanting more cash, much to Fletcher's dismay. All credit to the Hibs chairman (Rod Petrie) who can hold onto these guys and eventually get the fee deserved instead of taking small sums of cash, he got good value for Kevin Thomson, Derek Riordan and Scott Brown that way. The result of this is Hibs are one of the few financially sound countries in Scotland.

Even if in some crazy world a team could step up and be on our level (not going to happen though) it would just be three good teams and nine shite ones.

The league really needs a wholesale improvement in the quality on display. Talented youth players need to develop further and make it to the SPL more often, the good ones also need to stop dwindling away their careers in the Championship.

There's far too many SPL teams getting attendances of 5,000-10,000 every week, Rangers and Celtic away games are what's keeping most of the other clubs in the black.

Sounds like Fabio Aurelio was pretty much Man of the Match for Liverpool. I remember him being very good for Valencia when healthy. He seems to do well for the Reds, but again, can't stay healthy. Too bad. Good player.

This. Thought I started following the EPL/Champions League a few years back, because my college roommate is a big Newcastle fan, but I didn't really pick a team to start following every week until this year.

That team is Man City, mainly because I use them on FIFA so I got to know their entire roster pretty well. I know it's convenient to adopt them nowm with their Chelski-like ri$e to prominence, but I wanted to find a club that was successful enough to keep me interested but outside of the "big 4" that most American fans support.
