185 Tourney Final: Brett Cooper vs. Brandon Halsey
Cooper fell short in the season 8 tournament finals when he was KO'd by Doug Marshall. Due to an injury suffered by Marshall, Cooper ended up getting the title fight with champion Alex Shlemenko and nearly got the upset by decision, but lost in a great FOTY candidate for Bellator last September. He bounced back in March and knocked out Kendall Grove to advance to this fight.
Halsey is a former Division-I wrestler at Cal State Bakersfield and is 6-0 as a pro. He beat Shonie Carter in his second pro fight two years ago and is 4-0 in Bellator, beating Joe Pacheco in April to earn this fight.
145 Tourney Final: Daniel Weichel vs. Desmond Green
Weichel is a German fighter with over 40 pro fights across Asia, Europe and America and a one-time M1 Global lightweight champion. Over his career, he has wins over Dennis Siver and Frodo Khasbulaev. In this tournament, he choked out his first opponent and beat Matt Bessette in the semis by decision.
Green is from Upstate New York and was a Division-I wrestler at the University of Buffalo until he failed a drug test for weed. He lost his Bellator debut in the season 9 tournament first round but is 3-0 since then, defeating Mike Richman and Will Martinez this year.
Marlon Sandro vs. Chris Horodecki
At one time, Sandro was considered one of the very best featherweights in the world, that was a few years back. Now, he's 37-years-old and he's been KO'd twice through his Bellator career. He is 1-1-1 over the past year including his last fight in September back in Japan which was a draw against (basically) a .500 fighter in Yojiro Uchimura.
Enter Horodecki, the 26-year-old Polish-Canadian who has never seriously distinguished himself through runs in the WEC and previously in Bellator. At one point, he was an undefeated teenage prospect in the IFL...long time ago. Since being knocked out by Mike Richman in his last Bellator fight in 2012, he returned to the Canadian "indy" scene and went 2-0 last year. Thought he signed with WSOF last year but evidently, he never fought there and instead returns to Bellator for this shot.
Raphael Butler vs. Nick Rossborough
Butler, a former pro boxer (35-12, 2 NC) is undefeated at 8-0 in MMA, all fights won by KO or submission. He's 3-0 in Bellator and should pick up his 4th because he's taking on an MMA journeyman in Rossborough who is 23-18 overall.
